Great Reviews And Book 3 Updates

Hello, reader & writer friends!

The series Fearghus Academy has been getting more love lately on Amazon, Goodreads, and BookBub (click here to see a new review posted there), which is fantastic! Reviews and recommendations go a long way in helping to support your favorite authors. So, if you read a book that you thoroughly enjoy and want to help, this is the way to do it!

While Fearghus Academy: October Jewels has been seeing the most attention, book 2, Fearghus Academy: Crystal Shards, has been out for some time now, and so far readers have loved it - even more than the first book! Can you believe that? Honestly, it makes me very happy to see readers loving what I write. And there's more to come, too.

Book 3 will be coming out this summer, 2022. What will the title be?

Fearghus Academy: Precarious Gems

October Jewels follows Anna (later, Artesia) from London into Fearghus, another city on another planet entirely, and the story goes between the academy setting and out in the magical (and sometimes treacherous) world of Domhan.

Crystal Shards splits off between two prominent perspectives. Artesia, who continues to grow and improve in her fighting skills and her social etiquette, and whose main goal is to save a certain character who perished in book 1, only to be brought back as a zombie serving the academy's enigmatic enemy, Alptraum Engel. And there's Eilam, who is forced to leave the academy setting by two abominable people he knew in the past. This sequel deals with darker themes, and features more horror elements.

So, what can you expect to read in book 3?

Precarious Gems will follow a few perspectives. Mostly Artesia and Eilam. However, a few scenes roll on through a surprise POV that gives you insights into Domhan's criminal world - namely, Alptraum Engel's illegal enterprise. Readers will also meet students from schools competing for the rank of #1 academy in Domhan. Overall, there are more conflicts, more fight scenes, a new urban setting, and even a spice of romance in the frosty winter air. A tournament awaits you, perspective readers, and you won't see the end until you consider the beginning.

Fear not, for books are to come after book 3 comes out. Writing is a long process for me, but I do it so much that book 4 is already drafted.

Here's to happy reads!

Best,

I.O. Scheffer
